“Stayed here for 3 nights a few weeks ago. For me traveling by myself, the room was perfect! Cheap price and you still had everything you needed. Freshly renovated and clean. The hotel was very neat as well as it had a 24 hour Denny’s, casino, and bar. It was a great time and if I ever come back to Ely, I know where I’m staying!”
“It was an experience, almost 100 years old, full of nostalgia. The rooms are basic but functional, the showers were interesting hot water turns cold and hot all on there own ! I didn't gamble here but they had a lot of machines available.”
“Stayed here for 3 nights over Memorial Day weekend. It was pretty good. The lack of daily housekeeping was a let down. Even some basics like taking out trash would have been useful. The property could use some freshening up. There were areas by the lobby where the walls were flaking off and the lobby bathrooms were very tired.”
“Honestly impressed by the updated rooms, it was a great value for the cost, especially in such a small town. The casino floor and entry to the hotel is very run down and smells awful of cigarette smoke, but the staff at check in were friendly and gave us two free drink vouchers for the bar which was a nice touch. The room we had was nice and pretty clean, and being on the 6th floor got us away from the casino smell. The mattress was very hard (not comfy), and the sink smelled weird, but for one night it was a good stay. The town in general is very run down, but it was a good stop over on our road trip.”
“The kennecot suite was awesome! The manager Jen is wonderful and provides excellent customer service! The only negative is the construction on Main Street made it difficult to get towed vehicles behind the hotel. That will pass soon though and the road looks great!”
